Every Knudsen Vineyards block has something to say. With this wine, we capture the conversation between two delightfully diverse Pinot noirs produced on Southeast-facing plots and planted just a year apart in the heart of the vineyard. Block 15 is richer and darker - a wonderful complement to the lighter, brighter, more direct profile of block 17. With each wine speaking in equal measures, Throughline delivers beautifully layered, complex flavors and aromas.
TASTING NOTES
This Dundee Hills estate Pinot Noir is bold and expressive, with notes of black pepper, fig, blueberry, and meaty undertones layered over dusty earth and rose petal. On the palate, black raspberry, coffee, and pipe tobacco emerge, supported by hefty tannins and gripping acidity that give the wine a firm, age-worthy structure and savory complexity.
