Vineyard Blocks 9 and 17 lie at southeast exposure, anchored by our estate’s volcanic basaltic red-clay Jory soil. Each produces Pinot noir that reflects our family tradition of innovation and experimentation. Yet when these parallel lives converge, their similarities invite our winemaker’s perspective on each block’s unique traits.
TASTING NOTES
On the palate, this Pinot noir is structured and well-balanced, showcasing a harmonious blend of dark cherry and blackberry flavors. The higher acidity provides a refreshing lift, enhancing the vibrant fruit profile. Mid-palate, a pleasant spiciness emerges, adding depth and complexity. The finish is long and satisfying, characterized by a lingering oak influence and a subtle leather undertone. Just when you think it's over, a "sneaker punch" of flavor sneaks back, leaving a memorable impression.
