The Knudsen Vineyards 2014 Chardonnay exhibits a lovely pale straw color in the glass, possesses a light citrus, green apple and vanilla aroma, a flinty, cool mouthfeel and delivers a lingering and elegant finish. This wine has been characterized by some as presenting a flavor and drinkability profile surprisingly similar to the great wine of Chablis. We are enthusiastic about our energetic 2014 Chardonnay.
Crisp, clean and tingly tart. Discover layers of complexity with every sip - zippy lemon zest, quince paste, orange blossom and almond cookies - with a backbone of stony minerality.

This versatile food wine will be a pleasure to serve with a variety of menu options. Superb with salty soft cheese, with main courses like halibut, chicken with rosemary, sautéed sea scallops with herbed cream sauce, or with side dishes like chanterelles in garlic, butter and sea salt.
This is our second Knudsen Vineyards Chardonnay since our return to winemaking in 2012. We honor the pioneering spirit of our parents, Cal and Julia Lee Knudsen, and celebrate 45 years of viticultural innovation at Knudsen Vineyards.
