/ Knudsen Vineyards 2013 Pinot Noir
SKU: KN13PN6P

The Knudsen Vineyards 2013 Pinot Noir is a beautiful, light-red ruby color, is medium bodied and exhibits energetic red fruit aromas with a subtle hint of wet stone. It's wonderfully balanced acidity and robust mid-palate mouth feel lead toward an unusualy long finish. It superbly showcases the nuance, depth and complexity of the fruit from Knudsen Vineyards.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Fuller, dark fruit notes combine with the predominant red fruit aspects contributing to the wine's aroma and palate, including some earthy and floral elements, all of which adds lushness, balance and elegance to the wine.
Ratings
PinotFile score: 93 points. "This wine has one of those noses you want to go on sniffing, featuring cherry, cranberry relish, graham and sous-bois. The cherry flavor bursts on the palate, caresses the mouth, and persists on the finish. A touch of red strawberry and spice box adds interest." Vinous Media score: 90 points. "Brilliant red. Aromas of redcurrant and dried cherry are complemented by allspice and cracked pepper. Juicy and tightly focused on the palate, with bitter cherry and allspice flavors unfurling slowly. A hint of pomegranate appears on the incisive, persistent finish, adding a refreshingly bitter edge".
